District 13 Report - October 2024

Hello Area 41,

My name is Bill M. and I am an alcoholic, DCM for District 13. I have been able to visit all the groups in my district, there are 8 active groups in the panhandle. My home group is the New Beginnings group in Sidney. Matt N. has stepped up to be alt DCM. The furthest group is the Wauneta group (256 miles). Travel in the panhandle is extensive.

We had our district meeting on October 5th in Ogallala. We had a special guest, Nick, our delegate. He gave us feedback on the plain language big book. Several of the groups gave reports on the status of their meetings. Contributions are on a slight increase, attendance is flat. Friendship group in Ogallala has canceled the 6PM Friday and Saturday meetings. I have encouraged all GSRs to attend the next area 41 business meeting to be able to vote on the items that needed to vote.
