District 8 Report - October 2024

Hello Area 41!

We have had a great quarter with good attendance in our meetings. On August 11, our Area Delegate came out to North Platte to do the Delegate's Report with a surprisingly great turnout. Following the report we entertained a discussion regarding the publication on the Plain Language Big Book clarifying our questions. Later on, District 8 decided to submit an agenda item to the General Service Office to censure the General Service Board regarding the unaddressed 11 floor actions. And lastly, we will be celebrating our 80th anniversary of Alcoholics Anonymous in North Platte at the fairgrounds on December 7th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
