District 26 Report - October 2024

Greetings Area 41,

District 26 held its quarterly business meeting on Sept 21st. We discussed the upcoming voting items, group attendance and finances.

The district held its picnic on Sept 28 in Aurora. This has not happened in many years and although attendance was low a great time was had by all with good food, fellowship and a great meeting. We are hoping to continue this.

As I have made my recent rounds to visit the meetings in our district they all seem to be doing well and attendance seems to be growing in the Clarks Tuesday night and Central City Monday night meetings. It also sounds like there is a possibility of a new meeting starting in York, more to be revealed, as I once heard.

I am happy to announce that we have a more active GSR than when I was one. Hopefully we can continue to spark interest in service as we trudge this happy road.
