District 28 Report - October 2024

Greetings from Bellevue and Plattsmouth,

Cass County Corrections has asked us to restart meetings for them inside their facility as soon as possible. We are continuing to seek volunteers to support this effort and anticipate these to begin in November.

Over the summer we had several milestone birthdays in our district with program attendance between 30 and 40 years. We successfully recruited, if you will, some fresh faces to chair our late afternoon meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays in Plattsmouth. Over the course of the last several months we have welcomed a number of newcomers wishing to live a better life without alcohol and have lost only a few.
